Mission
The purpose of the International Business Association is to enhance the professional development of students with an interest in the study of International Business Administration, while expanding their awareness of the present phenomenon of the global economy. Our fundamental goal is to solidly prepare members for high-quality employment in opportunities around the world. Moreover, we stress the importance of social development and interaction in order for members to build a network of contacts that will serve them throughout their professional careers.
Qualifications
All of our members are Temple students with an interest in conducting business internationally. Most are studying International Business Administration, which is a dual degree program ranked Top 10 in the Nation (#10) for 4 consecutive years by US News & World Report. The Princeton Review and Forbes also ranked Temple University:

Our weekly meetings are held every Wednesday at 12:00PM in the new Alter Hall. If you'd like to speak with our members at one of these meetings, please fill out the interest form on the next page.
Regular IBA Activities Include:
- Weekly meetings featuring guest speakers from global companies and our "Global Lecture Series" focusing on conducting business in various regions and countries around the world
- Compilation of a resume CD including the high-quality resumes of our members, which have gone through our Center for Student Professional Development's rigorous review process
- Fundraising activities for charities such as the Susan B. Komen for the Cure organization and the Philadelphia AIDS walk
- Social and cultural events, such as bowling at Lucky Strike Lanes and dining at Fuji Mountain in center city
- First Thursdays with the International Visitor's Council
