Marissa White - President

Marissa White is a Junior majoring in International Business and Finance with a Minor in Spanish. She is also involved with the Temple University Equestrian Club and Spanish Club. In her free time she also volunteers at the African American Museum of Philadelphia. Marissa takes great pride in the IBA and has learned a great deal in leadership and International Business from it.  

 

 

 

Cassie Carbaugh - Vice President

Cassie Carbaugh is a Senior majoring in International Business, and will be receiving certificates in both Human Resources and French. She has studied abroad in Lyon, France in the Spring of 2011. This was a lifechanging experience which broadened her global perspective. Cassie has interned at the March of Dimes as a Communication Intern. She hopes to one day own her own PR and event planning company. Cassie really enjoys her time in the IBA, through participating in community events, planning fundraisers, and helping to lead the team. Cassie has a passion for helping others, and would love a career that would enable her to travel and still have a family.

 

 

 

 

Mary McDyer - Director of Finance

Mary McDyer is a Senior, majoring in Accounting and Spanish.  She is very interested in the other cultures around her and is also involved in the Temple University Outdoors Club.  Mary enjoys helping others and volunteers at events while also tutoring others in Spanish and financial classes.  Being a part of the International Business Association has been a positive influence in her life.  The friendships she has built, connections she has made, and the experiences that have been a part of her life through her membership have been irreplaceable.  

 

 

 

 

 

Yeoun Joo Lee - Director of Alumni/Corp

Yeoun Joo Lee is a Junior majoring in International Business with a Marketing Minor. She is an international student from South Korea and has lived in the U.S. for four years. Yeoun Joo is involved with Professional Networking Association, Best Buddies and is a Teaching Assistant in Intermediate Korean class at Temple University. She interned Summer 2010' at Ministry of Unification in South Korea where she assisted in helping North Korean refugees settle in South Korea.  Yeoun Joo strives to obtain a career as an Ambassador.

 

 

 

 

Ben Durst- Director of Membership

Ben Durst is a Senior, International Business and Marketing major. He enjoys anything fitness related and is a huge fan of sports. Other than IBA, Ben is on the board of Club Soccer at Temple and plays center back. Being a part of the IBA has made Ben more aware of business on a global level. The speakers that come have enabled him to gain a better appreciation of how business is done internationally. 

 

 

 

 

 

Maurizio Mazza - Director of Marketing

Maurizio Mazza is a Senior, International Business and Marketing Major with a Minor in Italian. He studied about in Rome in the Summer of 2011. He enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures and biking around Philadelphia.  Being apart of the IBA has enabled Maurizio to build lifelong relationships with people from all over the world. Barbara Malek - Director of Public Relations

Barbara Malek is a Senor majoring in International Business and Marketing with a Minor in Management Information Systems. She is also a part of The Polish Organization of Philadelphia, Temple American  Marketing Association and Temple Students for Fair Trade.  Barbara enjoys photography, painting and  digital media. Through being active in the IBA she has increased her knowledge of international business  and her ability to work well in culturally diverse teams.

 

 

 

 

Divya Vemuri - Director of Human Resources

Divya Vemuri is a Senior majoring in Advertising with a Minor in Business.  She enjoys reading, watching movies, draw, learning guitar. Being an officer in the IBA has helped Divya connect with many people and showed her a new perspective on international business. Gloria Angel
Assistant Director
Temple CIBER and the Institute for Global Management Studies
Fox School of Business

Gloria Angel is the Assistant Director of Temple CIBER and the Institute of Global Management Studies at the Fox School of Business. She is the program advisor for the International Business undergraduate program, ranked Top 10 in the nation by US News & World Report. She is a certified U.S. Passport Acceptance Agent – a role utilized to promote awareness about international business education opportunities.  In an effort to reach more students, Gloria strives to stay current on the technology trends, including social media.  She initiated video blogs with study abroad students contributing weekly on their international experience Study Abroad Blogs | Temple CIBER | Study Abroad and posts timely information on Temple programs as well as other international news on the Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts @FoxAbroad.   Historically, business students rarely studied abroad due to the challenge of being able to take accredited business courses abroad; this has changed drastically in the last decade. Gloria manages all study abroad and exchange programming and meets with hundreds of students individually to customize their international business education programming. She serves as the Administrative Manager for the International Business Student Association.

Gloria serves on the executive board for the Pennsylvania Council for International Education (PaCIE) where she served as treasurer from 2008 - 2009. Previously, she spent two years as a graduate admissions counselor and international student recruiter for Fox’s MBA/MS program, and three years at Temple’s Office of International Services, coordinating all procedures involved with hosting international students and scholars at Temple University. Prior to her tenure at Temple, she worked for the Philadelphia International Visitor’s Council coordinating programming for visiting business professionals from around the world. Gloria lived in Colombia working as a public relations assistant for a jewelry wholesaler and has served as an official tour guide in Philadelphia, Paris and Rome. She has a bachelor’s degree in International Business with a specialization in Marketing from Temple University.
